Programme

Objective of the programme:

The objective of the programme is to cultivate Ukrainian culture, music, history and heritage through recreation and education.

Weekly Activities Included:

• Morning exercises

• Various sports, i.e. soccer, swimming, dodge-ball

• Rehearsals for the end of camp concert

• Arts & Crafts

• Competitions among the campers

• Outing to the St. Sauveur Water Slides

• Movies

• Weekly Vatras & Discos

• Spiritual Talks
  

Noteworthy Recommendations:

• Counsellors should take on more of a leadership role

• More games and activities

• More people are needed to prepare the camp grounds prior to the opening.

• Involve TYC

• Have one person responsible for the daily activities and one person responsible for preparing the campers for the closing concert.
  

Noteworthy Achievements:

• Successful concert

• Campers developed new friendships

• Number of campers have joined the Ukrainian dance group and Ukrainian school

• Contact with new immigrants
