грудень 2007 Дорогі Брати і Сестри. Від імені Катедри Святої Софії, ми засилаємо вам теплі побажання, здоров` я, щастя та веселого і щасливого Нового року. Церковна Управа була дуже зайнята минулого року, над необхідними ремонтами нашого церковного будинку. Близько 15.000 було витрачено на Оселю Святої Софії на перекриття даху та веранди та ідальні. Додатково необхідно витрати на відремонтування дівчачих та хлопчачих бараків ще $10.000. Найбільш важлимв ремонтом цього року було відновлення нашого церковний будиноку . Були повністю відремонтовані вікна, тріщини були зароблені, стіни в середні церкви по фарбовані. Всі вісячі свічники були помиті. Увесь ремонт обійшовся у $100,000. В 2008 році, ми плануємо відновти чоловічий і жіночий туалети, пофарбувати церковну залю. Нашу огорожу необхідно замінити уздовж вулиці Святого Михаїла. Членську вкладку ще не всі заплатили, для покриваття необхідних поточних видатків. Ми покладаємося на вашу щедтрість і підтримку, допомогти нам довершити розпочаті ремонти, які необхідно закінчити, щоб наш храм міг служити для духовних потреб наших вірних і тих хто приїджає із України і Європи. Ми звертаємося до вас, за пожертвами, як дар любови за вашими фінансовими можливостями. Нехай Бог благословить Вас і Вашу родину і дарує доброго здоров` я і багато радості. December 2007 Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ: On behalf of St. Sophie Cathedral, we send you warm greetings for a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year 2008. Our Cathedral Executive has been very busy in the past year making necessary renovations to our properties. Close to $15,000 was spent at Camp St. Sophie redoing the roof and the galleries in the Dining Room Building. An additional $10,000 will be needed to fix up the boys’ and girls’ barracks. The most important renovation carried out this year was to the church building itself. All the windows were recaulked. The inside of the church was replastered around all the windows, cracks were repaired and the church painted. The chandeliers were washed. All this at a cost of close to $100,000. In the year 2008, we are looking at renovating both the men’s and women’s bathrooms as well as painting the church hall. Our fence along St. Michel Blvd. is begging to be changed. Membership dues alone do not cover the operating costs of running a parish such as ours. Consequently, we rely on the generosity of our members and supporters to help us attend to the physical needs of our parish so that we can in turn minister to the spiritual needs of those very members and supporters.
